Sukkot & Simchat Torah

Sukkot celebrates both the harvest season and G‑d's protection of the Israelites during their journey through the desert. We dwell in the sukkah, a temporary hut, reminding us of faith, unity, and joy in divine shelter. A central mitzvah of Sukkot is the daily blessing on the Four Kinds—the lulav (palm), etrog (citron), hadassim (myrtle), and aravot (willow)—waved in six directions to acknowledge G‑d's presence everywhere.
Simchat Torah marks the completion and restart of the Torah reading cycle. It's a day overflowing with dancing and singing as we celebrate the eternal bond between the Jewish people and the Torah.
